What we are looking for:

Project Tarjim LLC is seeking to recruit a professional full time translator to translate and/or proofread documents in various fields, from English to Arabic and vice versa.

Responsibilities:

• Translates projects in various fields such as Legal/Humanitarian/Financial/Business/Technical.

• Specialized in Legal translation is a Plus.

• Familiarity with translation software such as Trados.

• Performs other translation-related tasks such as proofreading/editing.

• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.

• Solves potential discrepancies and language and terminology issues.

• Providing input and assisting project managers with customer's requests.

• The ability to work under pressure.

• Can work in a team.

• The ability to build good relationships with clients Ability to take translation courses.

• Proficiency in computing skills.

• Willing to share experience with trainees

• Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs.

• Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices.

Education and previous experience:

• Bachelor's degree in translation or any related field 

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a translator.

• Master in translation is a plus.
