MBC Group is the largest satellite TV and radio network based in Dubai Media City. It broadcasts a portfolio of Arabic and Western entertainment channels as well as managing the Al Arabiya news channel. The Group currently requires Administrative Coordinator to work within the Group Operations Department; based in our Jordan offices to provide supporting services to the employees.
Job Objective:
The role of the Accountant will be to support the Finance Department in recording and retrieving financial details of the company including maintaining financial records, processing payments, cash handling and salaries. The position will entail coordination and cooperation with the different relevant teams working on the products.
Key Responsiblities:
- Booking the transactions of all modules (AP, AR, CM, FA, and AGIS).
- Prepare the journal vouchers for general ledger.
- Prepare suppliers payments on monthly basis.
- Manage petty cash expenditures.
- Maintain 4-way reconciliation between (PO, GSRN, GRDN & supplier invoice).
- Maintain the reconciliation across all the ERP modules
- Prepare intercompany reconciliation on quarterly basis
- Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
- Prepare sales tax adoption report & exempted purchases report every two months.
- Process end-month closing journal vouchers.
- Submit final trial balance on monthly basis.
- Prepare all the requirements related to internal & external auditt
- Perform any other tasks assigned by line manager.
Education:
- BSc in Accounting
